AMM AI Advisory SDN BHD, operating publicly as AMM–Long Mai Academy, provides EQ & Systems Thinking Leadership advisory, ESG, climate risk, and AI advisory services. We operate from Johor, Malaysia and Suntec Tower One, Singapore.
For any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact: info@amm-advisory.com
2. What Information We Collect
When you interact with our website, we may collect:
- Information you provide directly, such as your first name and email address when you request "The Regenerative Leadership Field Guide" or submit a contact form, and any details you include when booking a strategy call or virtual appointment.
- Information collected automatically, such as pages visited, time on site, and general device/browser information, gathered through standard website analytics.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, financial account numbers, government ID numbers) through this website, and we ask that you not include such information in any form field or message to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Deliver the resource, guide, or content you requested
- Respond to enquiries and schedule requested calls or appointments
- Send occasional updates related to ESG, AI governance, and leadership content, where you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
- Understand how our website is used, so we can improve it
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations where applicable
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis and Jurisdiction
We handle personal data collected through this site in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and, for visitors and clients based in Singapore, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Where a visitor is based in a jurisdiction with additional requirements (such as the EU's GDPR), we aim to honor the stronger applicable standard, including rights of access, correction, and deletion described in Section 6.
How we meet Malaysia PDPA 2010's seven data protection principles:
- General Principle — we only process your personal data with your consent (given when you submit a form) or where necessary to respond to your request.
- Notice and Choice Principle — this policy, plus the short consent line on our forms, serves as our PDPA-required notice: what we collect, why, and your right to withdraw consent.
- Disclosure Principle — we do not disclose your data for any purpose other than what's stated in Section 3, or to any third party beyond the processors named in Section 5, without further consent.
- Security Principle — see Section 8.
- Retention Principle — see Section 7.
- Data Integrity Principle — we take reasonable steps to keep the data we hold accurate and up to date; you can request a correction at any time (Section 6).
- Access Principle — you may request access to, or correction of, your personal data at any time (Section 6).
How we meet Singapore PDPA 2012 (as amended 2020)'s obligations:
- Consent Obligation — we collect and use your data only with your consent, obtained when you submit a form on our site.
- Purpose Limitation Obligation — we use your data only for the purposes stated in Section 3, and no other purpose, unless you separately consent.
- Notification Obligation — this policy and the consent line on our forms serve as notice of what we collect and why, before you submit any data.
- Access and Correction Obligation — see Section 6.
- Accuracy Obligation — we take reasonable steps to ensure the data we hold is accurate and complete.
- Protection Obligation — see Section 8.
- Retention Limitation Obligation — see Section 7.
- Transfer Limitation Obligation — where any personal data is transferred outside Singapore (for example, to our Malaysia office or a processor in another jurisdiction), we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
- Accountability Obligation — AMM AI Advisory SDN BHD has designated Stervey Lim as the point of contact for data protection matters. Contact: info@amm-advisory.com.
- Data Breach Notification Obligation — in the event of a data breach likely to result in significant harm, we will notify Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals in line with PDPA requirements.
Note: Singapore's data portability obligation (allowing individuals to request their data be transmitted to another organization) has been passed into law but, as of 2026, has not yet been brought into operation by the PDPC — so it isn't yet a live requirement. This policy will be updated once implementing regulations take effect.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website and related tools may use third-party services to operate, including:
- Wix — our website platform and form-processing infrastructure
- Email or CRM tools used to deliver requested content and manage enquiries
- Website analytics tools used to understand site traffic
These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security practices. We only share the minimum information necessary for them to perform their function.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction (Malaysia's Department of Personal Data Protection, or Singapore's PDPC)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@amm-advisory.com.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for — for example, to deliver requested content, respond to an enquiry, or maintain records required by law — after which it is deleted or anonymized.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data we hold against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to support basic functionality and understand site usage. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
